Cambridgeshire based manufacturer Techneat Engineering have confirmed their new Multicast Applicator, which combines the roles of the Autocast V2, Terracast V2 and Avacast GR models, will make its first appearance at this year’s LAMMA event on stand number 20.352.

Designed to simplify the existing Techneat applicator range, the Multicast is a multi-purpose seeder unit that can apply most types of products including Avadex granules, cover crops and grass seed, by simply changing the applicator’s single metering cartridge.

Using a powerful hydraulic driven fan and a Garmin GPS speed controller, each product is accurately applied though a distribution head which is available in many different configurations. All Multicasts will come complete with wiring kit, outlets, and a coil of hose – ‘everything you need to get started’ says the manufacturer.

James English, Technical Support Manager for Techneat, sees the versatility and timing saving benefits of the new Multicast as a major positive for farmers.

James says” The Multicast is a multi-use tool that will apply all types of products by changing the cartridge, offering farmers the option to transfer the same applicator between implements easily – especially if additional fitting /wiring kits are purchased.

“It will be available in either a 200l or 400l hopper size with all the usual machine specifications including: a Garmin GPS control system, a powerful hydraulic fan, a single distribution head available in various denominations, a metering unit able to cope with granules and a complete range of interchangeable cartridges for small seeds, grass seed or cover crops.

“The new machine is National Sprayer Testing Scheme (NSTS) compliant and will have additional options of either a 12m or 15m boom kit, as well as trailed, UTV skid or a standard 3-point linkage available to customers” he confirms.
