A 21,000-litre tandem axle unit featuring a new contactless forced steering system for the rear axle will be exhibited by Bauer at LAMMA 2026.

The high-specification poly-tanker will be a key attraction at the two-day machinery event, which takes place on 14-15 January at the NEC Birmingham.

Bauer’s tankers are produced in the main for large farms and contractors handling big amounts of slurry from dairy, pig and other livestock units, or digestate from anaerobic digestion  biogas plants.

Field mapping

The machine will also have new field application control software with field mapping. A Vogelsang 24m Swing Max5 dribble will illustrate the range of application hardware available.

Robust build, considerable variation in terms of features and layout, and good road manners during high-speed road travel between store and field are key features appreciated by professional users.

Bauer’s poly-tankers are built from hand-layered woven polyester sheets, a weight-saving solution impervious to corrosion. An outer layer of Gelcoat protects against the tank’s otherwise corrosive effects of its contents, as well as exterior contaminants.

Galvanised chassis

“The poly tankers’ structure and galvanised chassis means they clean up really well and can look like new even after a lot of use, resulting in strong re-sale values,” says Bauer UK sales manager Rob Jackson.

Examples of Bauer’s comprehensive range of Helix, submersible and pto-driven pumps will also be on the Lamma show stand, alongside slurry separators illustrating the range of slurry separators from Bauer and Fan Separator, a Bauer subsidiary.

They will include a Fan PS3.3 Green Bedding unit capable of producing a soft lining material for cow cubicles, and an Elevator fully-integrated mobile set-up with variable discharge height.
