This year’s Cereals event will now take place on 30 June and 1 July after organisers decided to hold it after lockdown restrictions are eased.
Event organiser Alli McEntyre said: “Speaking with exhibitors and visitors, we looked at the choice of having a restricted event in early June or moving the date and potentially having no restrictions, and the majority opted for the latter.”
Ms McEntyre said it would be a better show without lockdown in place.
Although the government is targeting a full lifting of restrictions before the new date, Ms McEntyre said precautions would still be taken. This would ensure visitors remained safe while being allowed to enjoy the entire event experience.
